From 10 till the 17th of January I will participate in a group exhibition with my fellow students. If you happen to be in Holland at that time, feel free to walk in at Spui 248, the Hague. The Last Days of Shishmaref →
Shishmaref is an Inupiac eskimo community on an island in the far northwest  corner of Alaska. Their native land is being threatened by the sea as a result of global warming. The 600 inhabitants will be forced to move to the mainland within ten years. They may be considered the first community of climate refugees. Dana Lixenberg made a photoseries about them and their land.
